Without the help of volunteers Tauranga RDA would be unable to operate. No matter what your age and background there is a role for you at Tauranga Riding for the Disabled as a volunteer.
Volunteering with RDA is fun, rewarding and confidence building. Our volunteers assist with the delivery of our equestrian therapy programmes, our life skills therapy programmes and our sport and recreation programmes. We also have a need for assistance around the farm working with our farm manager and in our office helping with data entry, website maintenance, and a variety of administrative tasks.
The question is why pick us to give your time too?
We will give you a genuine volunteer experience, your time with Tauranga RDA will be a worthwhile time investment. You can give as much, or as little, as you can fit into your lifestyle.
You will be part of a big RDA team, as well as part of a smaller daily team, where you will make friends, have fun and have a positive effect on the lives of the riders.
The work is interesting, varied, challenging and rewarding.
You will be involved in an organisation that is passionate and committed to its cause of offering equine therapy to better the lives of their clients.
You will be involved in a place of belonging and community.
If you'd like to volunteer at Tauranga RDA, then please contact us on 07 544 1899 or email firstname.lastname@example.org - please give us your name, contact details, address and also what type of volunteer work you would be interested in doing. We will then arrange an induction session for you and sort out with you what days suit you to volunteer. We hold regular training sessions for our volunteers.
