Thank you for your support of Tauranga Riding for the Disabled. Because of the generosity of people from the community we are able to make a positive and life-changing difference to people with disabilities or who are at-risk.
Harbour City Lions purchased our horse Honey for us in 2010 and have sponsored her every year since.
Pictured here are members of Harbour City Lions Club with Harbour City Honey
We were absolutely delighted when The Rotary Club of Mt Maunganui offered to purchase a horse for us. We found a wonderful pony called “Scooby” and after a few weeks trial decided he would make an excellent therapy pony.
We were thrilled when they also offered to sponsor Scooby who is now called “Mt Rotary Scooby”
RDA Tauranga thank The Rotary Club of Mt Maunganui for their generous support – it will make a great difference to a lot of people who are challenged by disability
Pub Charity have been a consistent supporter of RDA Tauranga and their support has made a great difference to the level of programming we are able to offer those who need it within our community.
We thank the trustees of Pub Charity most sincerely for their support. The funds granted go towards the costs associated with providing equestrian therapy sessions.
We were absolutely delighted when the Mcleods offered to purchase a horse for us. Here they are with Topaz shortly after they purchased her for us.
Topaz is sponsored by Legacy funerals and is now called Legacy Topaz. Legacy Funerals are also the sponsor of our community outreach program which takes our mini ponies out to visit residents at retirement and nursing homes. Legacy Funerals through Legacy Trust have supported us consistently over the years and we thank them most sincerely

Ballance supported the Indoor Arena project and they provide fertiliser for all of our paddocks. The reason our paddocks look so healthy is a direct result of their ongoing sponsorship which is greatly appreciated. Their support enables us not only to run 15 horses on 15 acres but also enables us to make sufficient hay and haylege to contribute in a significant way to our winter feed program..

Chris and Dianne O'Dwyer from Bay Orchard Sprayers in Te Puke sponsor our horse Brandy Snap.
Chris and Dianne have given us significant support over many years and have been sponsoring an RDA horse since 2008.
They are featured in this photo with Pale Moon who was the very first RDA horse they sponsored.
Powerco have been sponsoring an RDA horse since 2010. They are currently sponsors of Powerco Betty. Powerco was also a major sponsor of the Indoor Arena arena. Their support has been a tremendous asset to our organization and we thank them most sincerely.
Santa is sponsored by Rawenga Trust.
In recognition of the sponsorship we have ‘extended’ Santa's name and he is now called ‘Rawenga Santa’.
The Trustees of Rawenga Trust have had an association with RDA for many years and we thank them sincerely for their sponsorship
Barbara Jones volunteered for us for many years until she moved to Bethlehem in 2015. She also used to regularly run Sale Stalls at various community weekend sale sites earning for us significant income. Barb sponsors our lovely mare Bessie.
Tauranga Police CIB charity auction luncheon and auction in October 2009 raised $75,000 for Tauranga RDA Arena Charitable Trust. This was the first major gift and set us on the road to achieving our dream of an indoor arena.
In 2011, $100,000 of the money raised at that year’s auction was put towards the completion of the Indoor Arena
Thanks to Seales Winslow’s wonderful Equine mineral blocks, our horses are in tip top condition year round.
We thank Seales Winslow for their on-going support.
A very big thank you to Paul & Cheryl Adams and family for their sponsorship of three of our horses.
The Adams family, through their business operations, The Lakes and Carrus have also provided significant support to us over the years. Our driveway and parking areas are just some of the examples of the great support they have given us.
‘Beverley Beck’ sponsors our Wash Bay
'Beverley Beck' recently had a major win at Ellerslie Races and to celebrate a photo of the winning moment is hanging in the Wash Bay. Beverley Beck is pictured here along-side our very non-race-horse looking Zena who was sponsored by Beverley Beck before he took over sponsorship of the Wash Bay
TECT have been major sponsors of Tauranga RDA for a number of years. They were the lead donor for our Indoor Arena Project and over the years have made significant grants towards our operational costs
NZCT have been major sponsors of our organization over the years. Most recently they contributed to the purchase of a new horse float which has enabled us to enhance our junior volunteer program and to operate our community outreach program that takes our mini ponies out to visit retirement and nursing homes in the district.
For many years The Lion Foundation has provided significant support to our organization. They provided funds for the upgrade of our outdoor arena and for the upgrade of our hay storage facilities as well as contributed to the purchase of a horse float
Zariba purchased for us our spectacular saddle blankets and most recently have become sponsors of our Newsletter. The principals of Zariba are also involved in our Foundation and in the sponsorship of our two mini ponies, Ruby & Chippie through Hillsdene Charitable Trust
